After earning a Bachelor's degree in Communications and an Associate's degree in Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University, Joe began his professional journey at Prudential, where he worked for eight years. Inspired to make a difference in education, he earned his teaching certificate and has been passionately teaching honors math at the middle school level since 2001. In May 2018, Joe furthered his commitment to education by earning a Master’s Degree in School Administration from Rowan University. Joe and his wife Laura are proud parents of three sons—all graduates of The Goddard School of Piscataway. As a dad and educator, Joe brings a strong sense of community, leadership, and heart to everything he does. Outside of work, Joe loves spending quality time with his family, coaching his sons’ baseball and football teams, and catching a good movie whenever he can.
CONGRATULATIONS ON 30 YEARS!! Laura has been the on-site Owner of The Goddard School in Piscataway since June 2015, following more than 15 years of dedicated service as the School’s Director. Her journey with The Goddard School began in February 1996, when she first joined the team as a classroom teacher before moving into leadership roles. With a degree in Psychology and Sociology from Rutgers University and additional work in Early Childhood Education from Kean University, Laura brings both heart and expertise to everything she does. She is an active member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and its New Jersey affiliate, NJAEYC—organizations that reflect her commitment to the field. Outside of school, Laura is the proud mom of three boys—all of whom are graduates of The Goddard School. Her personal and professional lives are rooted in a genuine love for children and a passion for creating nurturing learning environments where children thrive.
Amy joined The Goddard School of Piscataway in 2022, bringing with her over 20 years of experience in early childhood education. Her passion for working with young children has been the foundation of her career, including 13 wonderful years as both a Director and Pre-Kindergarten teacher at two other Goddard School locations. Amy holds an AAS in Early Childhood Education from Raritan Valley Community College and later earned her BA in Organizational Management with a concentration in Education from Ashford University. Amy’s experience, warmth, and dedication to early learning make her a valued part of our school community. She’s passionate about creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.
Staci received her Bachelor's Degree in Education and Sociology. She also has dual certification in Preschool and Elementary Education. Since joining our faculty in 2008, Staci has worked as the Lead Teacher in the Pre-Kindergarten Dinosaur classroom, as well as Lead Teacher of our Summer Camp Program. She is also our Assistant Director.
Colleen is the Lead Teacher in our Get Set/Bridge Panda classroom. She joined our team in January 2024 as an assistant teacher in our Toddler program. Colleen has prior experience working with children from infants up to school age. Currently, Colleen is working towards achieving her CDA.
Jessica has an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Kean University. Since joining the faculty of The Goddard School in 2003, she has worked as an assistant teacher and our Camp Director. Jessica is currently the Lead Teacher in the Preschool Duckling classroom.
Sam joined our team in September 2023 as the lead teacher in the infant room. She has been in the early childhood education field for 10 years and has taken classes towards obtaining her CDA certification. In her spare time, Sam enjoys spending time with her family including her two young boys.
Amber is an Assistant Teacher in our infant classroom who joined our team in February 2024. Amber joins us with prior experience with children of all ages. Amber is looking forward to gaining more experience in the field and has been a wonderful addition to our Goddard team!
Jennifer joined our team in 2025 and is currently a high school senior. She is excited to gain more experience working with children and looks forward to learning and growing throughout the year ahead. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys staying focused on her academics and hopes to pursue a career in the medical field in the future.
Kayla became part of our team in 2025 and now supports our Toddler classroom as an assistant teacher. Her bright, bubbly personality adds a wonderful energy to the room, and we’re thrilled to have her working with our youngest learners.
Kaylee joined our team in October 2023 as a part-time Assistant Teacher. Kaylee is currently enrolled at Rutgers University in the Criminal Justice program. She has prior experience working in a child care program with children up to 5 years old.
Laura has her High School Diploma and has completed college coursework. Since joining the faculty of The Goddard School in 2013, Laura worked as the Kindergarten/PreK assistant teacher and is now the assistant teacher in our Preschool class. She brings her experience as a mother into the classroom as she cares for all of the children.
Leslie joined our team in 2023 and loves to work with children. She has a high school degree and is currently taking classes at Kean University. She enjoys babysitting her own siblings as well as close friends' siblings. Leslie is active and has also worked with children at a soccer camp. She cares for all children and loves to see them smile.
Lydia joined our team in 2025 and brings previous experience to her role as an Assistant Teacher. Currently, she is pursuing her studies at Middlesex College. We’re thrilled she’s with us and supporting our work with children while advancing her own education.
Lynn has her High School Diploma and has completed college coursework. Since joining the faculty of The Goddard School in 2005, Lynn has been an assistant teacher in our youngest classes and has been in the Toddler program for the past several years. Due to her tenured experience and having two children of her own, Lynn is a valuable asset to the Toddler classroom and is currently the Interim Lead Teacher.
Mr. Joey graduated from Rutgers University with his degree in Mechanical Engineering and is currently working at a firm in North Jersey. Joey worked part-time at the school while finishing his degree and is now in charge of our social media.
